Connect Mazkir to VS Code
Let VS Code work in your Mazkir projects: search and read the notes in them, and write new ones where you can edit. It takes about two minutes.
Before you start
You need a Mazkir account. Create one with Google, or with your email and a password.
Steps
- Choose Add to VS Code above. VS Code opens and shows Mazkir: choose Install.
- When VS Code asks, allow it to sign in, and sign in to Mazkir in the browser window that opens.
- In Copilot's agent mode, try: “Check Mazkir for how we deploy this project.”
If something goes wrong
Nothing happens when I choose Add to VS Code
The link opens the VS Code app, so it has to be installed on this computer. Or add Mazkir by hand, run this in a terminal: code --add-mcp '{"name":"mazkir","type":"http","url":"https://mazkir.io/mcp"}'
The agent sees different notes than the website
Each way of signing in is its own account. Sign in to the agent the same way you do on the website: the same Google account, or the same email. To switch, disconnect Mazkir in the agent, connect it again, and choose the other way.
