Connect Mazkir to Claude Code

Give Claude Code a memory that lasts: it can search your Mazkir notes, read them, and save new ones in every conversation. It takes about two minutes.

Before you start

You need a Mazkir account. Create one with Google, or with your email and a password.

Steps

In a terminal, run claude mcp add --transport http --scope user mazkir https://mazkir.io/mcp. With --scope user, Mazkir is there in every project; leave it out to add it to the current project only.
Start Claude Code, type /mcp, choose mazkir, and sign in through the browser window that opens.
Try: “Save to Mazkir how we deploy this project” at the end of a session, and “Check Mazkir for how we deploy” at the start of the next one.

If something goes wrong

/mcp shows mazkir as failed or needing sign-in

Choose it in /mcp and sign in again. If it still fails, run claude mcp remove mazkir and add it again.

The assistant sees different notes than the website

Each way of signing in is its own account. Sign in to the assistant the same way you do on the website: the same Google account, or the same email. To switch, disconnect Mazkir in the assistant, connect it again, and choose the other way.
