Connect Mazkir to ChatGPT
Give ChatGPT a memory that lasts: it can search your Mazkir notes, read them, and save new ones in every conversation. It takes about two minutes.
Before you start
You need a Mazkir account. Create one with Google, or with your email and a password.
Steps
- In ChatGPT, open Settings, then the section for apps and connectors. If ChatGPT asks you to turn on developer mode before adding a custom one, turn it on there.
- Add a custom connector. Name it Mazkir, and paste
https://mazkir.io/mcpas the server URL. - Choose OAuth for sign-in. Mazkir configures the rest itself, so leave the advanced settings as they are.
- Continue past ChatGPT's notice about custom connectors, then sign in to Mazkir.
- In a new chat, try: “Save to Mazkir that my favorite coffee is a flat white.” Then, in another chat: “What's my favorite coffee? Check Mazkir.”
If something goes wrong
ChatGPT says the connection or authorization failed
Delete the Mazkir connector in ChatGPT's settings, add it again with the same address, and sign in again.
ChatGPT answers without looking in Mazkir
Name Mazkir in the request, such as “check my Mazkir notes”, or choose Mazkir in the chat's tools menu.
The assistant sees different notes than the website
Each way of signing in is its own account. Sign in to the assistant the same way you do on the website: the same Google account, or the same email. To switch, disconnect Mazkir in the assistant, connect it again, and choose the other way.
The sign-in page says it expired or can't continue
A sign-in page expires if it stays open too long. Start again from the assistant, not from a saved or reloaded page.
