### General tips

- Centre of the island: General Luna.
- Stay: Bed and Brewer: good place and prices; ask the manager for a discount.

- Popular with Israeli travellers.
- Good location, close to the beach.
- Can be a bit noisy from shows at the nearby restaurant.

### Attractions

- Surfing: around 1,000 PHP for a 2-hour lesson.
- Rent a van or a motorbike and visit:
  - the "sea of coconuts" viewpoint
  - Maasin River
  - Magpupungko Rock Pools (nice, but not a must)
- Sugba Lagoon: on Caob Island, a 20-minute boat ride from Del Carmen. About 2,000 PHP for a boat of up to 6 people, plus a 100 PHP fee.
- Island hopping.
